From the youngest of 12 to District 6's next commissioner.
Every candidate has a platform. Jeffery Jones has a lifetime of proof that when someone listens, leads, and fights alongside a community, that community gets stronger.
Imagine a little boy born and raised in the city of Hallandale, the youngest of 12 children. He loved school. He dreamed of playing basketball day and night. All he wanted was to grow up and make enough money to make his parents proud, because in his formative years, the only career path he ever saw modeled for him was roofing. He never saw himself reflected in business, medicine, or education. So he made himself a promise: he would be the change he wanted to see.
That determination carried him through college, through sports, and into a career as a successful international businessman. For nearly 24 years since, he has dedicated himself to serving working men and women as a strong voice and advocate, rooted in one simple belief: communities become stronger when people have someone who will listen, lead, and fight alongside them.
Now Jeffery Jones is running for Broward County Commissioner, District 6, to make sure economic, social, and political opportunity is equitable and accessible for every resident, so that every family can thrive, every business can grow, and every person is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
